Job Description:
Associate Director - AI Software Engineering (The Boston
Consulting Group, Inc. - Bethesda, Maryland): Lead the design and
development of complex, large-scale data and software analytics
solutions and products in order to help clients increase
performance and tackle their most pressing business problems.
Specific duties include: bring leading-edge data science models
into production together with a highly multi-disciplinary team of
scientists, engineers, partners, product managers, and subject
domain experts; build scalable analytics software platforms and
products; apply software development practices and standards to
develop robust and maintainable software; guide non-technical teams
and consultants in understanding analytics at scale, infrastructure
as code, and best practices for robust software development;
optimize and enhance computational efficiency of algorithms and
software design; provide thought leadership to software design and
solutions; and engage with clients to understand the requirements,
translate into technical solutions, and commercialize the
offerings. Requires a Master's degree in Computer Science,
Information Systems, Engineering (any discipline) or a related
field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) plus nine
(9) years of experience developing enterprise grade software
solutions (Cloud, DevOps, Analytics, Web Hosting) which must
include at least three (3) years of experience managing large-scale
cloudbased application and data migration projects including teams
of software engineers. Specific skills/other requirements
(quantitative experience requirements not applicable to this
section) - must possess the following: (i) building complex
software systems and data solutions through algorithm design, data
structure development, and object-oriented programming; (ii)
implementing data patterns using containerized solutions and
serverless architecture; (iii) deploying complex analytics systems
and operating them at scale; (iv) building and automating data
pipelines; (v) executing data migration in Cloud platforms; (vi)
applying enterprise architecture best practices; (vii) building
analytics tools and platforms; (viii) conducting product
engineering and development; (ix) leveraging DevOps to enhance
machine learning processes; and (x) performing large scale
computing. Domestic/international travel required (up to 75%) based
on company/client need. M-F, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. 45+ hours per
