Overview:We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in managed care, clinical trials, data analysis, and system design. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the healthcare industry.Duties:-* Assist the Director of Nursing in planning, organizing, and directing the overall operation of the nursing department.* Supervise and evaluate nursing staff performance, providing guidance, coaching, and mentorship as needed.* Collaborate with other department heads to ensure interdisciplinary coordination of patient care.* Develop and implement nursing policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure the delivery of safe and effective patient care.* Monitor and maintain compliance with all regulatory standards, including state and federal regulations and accreditation requirements.* Participate in quality improvement initiatives, analyzing data and implementing strategies to improve patient outcomes.* Assist in the recruitment, selection, and retention of nursing staff, ensuring adequate staffing levels at all times.* Provide leadership in emergencies, ensuring appropriate response and follow-up.* Serve as a resource and mentor to nursing staff, promoting professional development and a culture of continuous learning.* Collaborate with the Director of Nursing in budget planning and management for the nursing department.* Maintain effective communication channels with nursing staff, physicians, and other members of the healthcare team.* Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Nursing or upper management.Qualifications:-* Current, unrestricted RN license in the state of Maryland.* Minimum of [insert number] years of nursing experience, with progressive leadership responsibilities.* Prior experience in a supervisory or management role is preferred.* Strong knowledge of nursing principles, practices, and techniques.* Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.* Ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and electronic medical records (EMR) systems.* Commitment to promoting a culture of patient safety and quality improvement.* Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.This role offers a competitive salary, benefits package, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the healthcare field.
