Position Description: CGI Federal is seeking an experienced Team
Lead for Financial Management System Controls Support to oversee
the financial internal control environment for a Financial
Management Directorate within an Agency in the Intelligence
Community. This role ensures the Agency's financial systems support
audit readiness, strong funds control, regulatory compliance, and
enterprise oversight mandates. The position requires expertise in
internal controls, federal financial management, audit support, and
risk mitigation — along with leadership skills to manage control
activities across complex financial system environments. This
position is located in Springfield, VA. Your future duties and
responsibilities: Financial Management System Controls Oversight .
Lead and sustain the Agency's financial management system control
environment to support accurate funds management and compliance
with oversight mandates . Maintain and track all financial system
control recommendations . . Ensure system control practices align
with federal, DoD, IC, and OMB guidance, including A 123 internal
controls requirements. Audit Readiness & Support . Support internal
and external financial system audits, coordinating walkthroughs,
testing, and evidence collection. . Respond to Prepare By Client
(PBC) requests and ensure timely, accurate audit documentation. .
Evaluate financial system control deficiencies and lead corrective
action planning. Internal Control & Compliance Leadership .
Establish and maintain processes to ensure compliance with: .
FISCAM . A 123 Appendix A . Federal financial management
regulations . IC audit and risk standards . Assess and recommend
updates to system controls, user access controls, and segregation
of duties. Risk Management & Continuous Improvement . Identify,
analyze, and mitigate financial system risks, emerging weaknesses,
and control gaps. . Provide recommendations to strengthen the
Agency's financial control posture. . Partner with system
engineering, requirements management, O&M, and reporting teams
to ensure end to end system compliance and auditability.
Stakeholder Coordination & Reporting . Engage Agency leadership and
financial oversight stakeholders to communicate risk, control
status, and audit outcomes. . Oversee updates to system control
documentation, ensuring accuracy, version control, and
accessibility. . Support governance forums and working groups
focused on compliance and risk mitigation. Required qualifications
to be successful in this role: . 10 years experience with IC or
Federal Financial systems and processes . Active Top Secret/SCI
with ability to obtain and maintain a CI Poly . Experience in
corporate treasury, banking, or financial operations . Knowledge of
cash management, financial risk, liquidity planning, and federal
financial systems . Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or
Economics Desired qualifications/non-essential skills required: .
Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) and/or Certified
Defense Financial Manager (CDFM) . Experience with federal
financial internal control frameworks (A 123, FISCAM, SSAE 18) .
Experience supporting audit readiness or IT audit activities .
Familiarity with federal financial system access controls and user
role governance CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to
include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this
role. The determination of this range includes various factors not
limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and
licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for
merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at
or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions
are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A
reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S.
is $100,800.00 - $218,200.00. CGI Federal's benefits are offered to
