Job Description:
Job Description Computercraft is seeking an experienced
Administrative Assistant to support the National Institutes of
Health (NIH) Business System. The Administrative Assistant will
communicate with all stakeholders, including executives,
administrative, and line management employees. This position
requires the performance of advanced administrative duties with
exposure to sensitive information necessitating tact, diplomacy,
discretion, and judgment. Strong project management skills,
emotional intelligence, and integrity are essential for this role.
In addition, the candidate must be comfortable in a fast-paced,
collaborative, diverse, and professional environment. The ideal
candidate is a high-energy individual with excellent organizational
skills, strong attention to detail, and excellent written and
verbal communication skills. Job Responsibilities Field inbound
communications: Triage phone calls and correspondence Track
communications: Maintain an effective routing and tracking system
for materials such as correspondence, reports, memoranda, and other
written communications to improve information flow and ensure that
deadlines are met Coordinate scheduling: Manage the Director's
calendar and set up meetings with both internal and external
stakeholders Coordinate meetings: Facilitate meetings for the NBS
Director and distribute minutes to the appropriate attendees or
stakeholders Organize internal resources: Build out and maintain
processes to keep files and office supplies organized and easily
accessible Liaise with visitors: Act as point person for the NBS
Director---s office Communicate policies and procedures: Alert
employees of new processes, rules, and regulations Facilitate
executive-level operations: Book travel, submit expense reports,
and send communications for high-level staff as needed Support the
tracking of property inventory: Ensure all government-furnished
equipment and property is accurately accounted for (e.g.,
coordinate property inventory validations) Maintain SharePoint
site: Support administrative processes for onboarding and
offboarding resources on the NBS SharePoint site, ensuring all
information is accurate, up to date, and consistent with program
operations Required Skills/Experience High school diploma Strong
organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills Strong
communication skills, including writing ability Proven ability to
work in a fast-paced environment with minimal direction Positive
attitude, customer service orientation, and attention to detail
Willingness to adjust to changing priorities and take
responsibility for new tasks Familiarity with office equipment
(e.g., printers, fax machines, projectors) Proficiency in Microsoft
Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint) and familiarity with
SharePoint Desired Skills/Experience 1-2 years of experience as an
administrative assistant, secretary, or receptionist Experience

This is a full-time position. Although the new hire may initially
telework, we anticipate that this role may require on-site work,
either in a hybrid arrangement or full time. Further, per
