any US office with a preference for candidates in Bellevue, WA, Los
Angeles, CA, San Diego, CA, Chicago, IL, Las Vegas, NV and Fairfax,
VA. CGI utilizes a hybrid model, and partners should be prepared to
work in a local CGI office, as needed. Your future duties and
responsibilities: . Develop and maintain relationships with state
policymakers and staff, executive branch agencies and officials,
and other key stakeholders . Be an in-house specialist on state
government and advise internal colleagues on business risks and
opportunities, developing and implementing strategies accordingly.
. Provide legislative analyses, and develop written content and
advocacy materials as appropriate, . Support Vice President and
regional directors lobbying on behalf of CGI with state
policymakers within assigned states . Support raising CGI's profile
and stature with governmental bodies, industry groups, and member
associations through thought leadership and proactive engagement. .
Support state legislative priorities, political strategy, and
policy development; understand business priorities, growth
opportunities and potential risks to inform policy objectives .
Work closely with business development teams, external government
affairs consultants, and industry partners . Draft legislative
language, policy briefings and presentations Required
qualifications to be successful in this role: . 10 years direct
state government, and/or, issue advocacy experience either on staff
or a corporate government relations team . Familiarity with state
legislative landscape, agency procurement and
Appropriations/Authorization processes . Ability to prioritize and
multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment . Strong
organizational skills and highly detail-oriented . Familiarity with
IT issues preferred . Bachelor's Degree CGI anticipates accepting
applications for this position through March 31, 2026. Other
Information: CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to
include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this
role. The determination of this range includes various factors not
limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and
licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for
merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at
or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions
are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A
reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S.
is $62,900.00 - $176,300.00. CGI's benefits are offered to eligible
