Description JOB SUMMARY Marriott International is entering a new
chapter of growth and evolution. The Director, Global Casting
serves as architect of the brand’s talent identity, curating and
guiding the faces, voices, and cultural partners who bring the
brand to life. This leader oversees global casting, celebrity
partnerships, and talent strategy across campaigns, content,
social, and experiences, ensuring every collaborator reflects the
brand’s values, identity, and global perspective. This role shapes
the human expression of the brand. By thoughtfully curating the
voices and talent who bring our stories to life, they will
strengthen Marriott’s cultural relevance and deepen its connection
with guests around the world. Sitting at the intersection of
culture, creativity, and community, this leader cultivates a
diverse, future-facing talent ecosystem that fuels storytelling,
and strengthens social relevance worldwide. WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
A globally consistent, culturally relevant casting and talent
strategy that clearly reflects the brand’s values, diversity, and
point of view. Talent and influencer partnerships feel authentic,
additive, and storytelling-led , enhancing creative ideas and brand
narratives. A dynamic mix of global and local creators,
tastemakers, and talent who resonate across cultures and platforms.
Influencer and creator content that drives engagement, relevance,
and social conversation. Clear global frameworks and playbooks that
empower regional teams to execute locally relevant talent
strategies while maintaining a unified brand identity. Casting and
talent choices elevate campaigns, editorial, social content, and
on-property guest experiences, strengthening emotional connection
with audiences. Strong operational rigor, including efficient
processes for contracting, rights management, budgeting, and
performance measurement. Internal teams view the talent function as
a trusted creative partner and center of excellence . Externally,
the brand is recognized as a culturally fluent hospitality leader
known for meaningful, inclusive, and forward-thinking talent
collaborations. CANDIDATE PROFILE Education and Experience Required
4-year degree from an accredited university in Business
Administration, Marketing & Communications, or related major. 8
years of experience in casting, talent, influencer, or creator
partnerships within hospitality, lifestyle, fashion, entertainment,
or other culture-led brands. Deep expertise in social platforms,
creator ecosystems, and cultural trends, with a strong
understanding of how talent drives engagement and relevance. Proven
track record building and managing global talent strategies at
scale, including cross-market alignment and regional partnership
models. Strong creative instincts paired with operational rigor,
contract and rights-management negotiation experience. Passion for
inclusive, purpose-driven storytelling. Collaborative, influential
leadership style with the ability to align and inspire partners
across functions and regions. Comfort and agility operating in
fast-paced, social-first environments, culturally dynamic
environments. CORE WORK ACTIVITIES Global Casting Strategy Lead
global casting across brand campaigns, social content, editorial,
experiential, and on-property storytelling. Establish clear casting
standards and frameworks that champion consistency, inclusivity,
and cultural relevance across markets. Partner closely with
Creative, Editorial, Social, and Production teams to bring ideas to
life through the selected talent. Collaborate with PR teams to
ensure talent choices enhance cultural resonance and integrate
seamlessly across marketing and communications. Partner closely
with the Purpose Driven Marketing team to ensure talent is aligned
with brand values. Partner closely with the Partnerships and Card
Marketing teams to activate talent across loyalty initiatives,
moments, and member-exclusive experiences. Talent & Influencer
Strategy Collaborate with Editorial and Social team to align global
influencer talent and creator strategies with the broader talent
platform and ecosystem. Define and activate a global influencer and
creator strategy that is social-first, culturally fluent, and
platform-native . Build long-term relationships with creators,
tastemakers, and cultural leaders across regions and platforms.
Balance macro, micro, and community-based influencers to drive
authenticity, reach, and engagement. Cultural Relevance & Community
Stay closely connected to cultural movements, emerging trends
shaping entertainment, travel, and lifestyle. Provide regular
cultural insights to creative, marketing, brand and design teams to
inform creative briefs, strategies, campaigns, and content.
Maintain a deep understanding of audience behavior across global
and local markets. Ensure talent partnerships reflect the diversity
of the brand’s guests, communities, and destinations. Champion
inclusive representation and responsible storytelling across all
talent-led initiatives. Content, Campaigns & Experiences
Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to integrate
talent seamlessly into campaigns, social content, editorial, and
on-property experiences. Support content franchises, entertainment
initiatives, and always-on storytelling with consistent,
high-quality talent. Ensure talent selection enhances narrative
impact and reinforce brand storytelling. Operations, Governance &
Measurement Partner with the Legal and Procurement teams to create
clear framework for talent contracts, negotiations, usage rights
management, maximizing value across the enterprise. Manage
influencer budgets, scopes of work, and performance tracking.
Collaborate with Marketing Strategy and Data & Analytics teams to
establish measurement frameworks evaluating talent effectiveness,
cultural impact, and ROI. Global Frameworks & Local Empowerment
Create forums, intake forms, and evaluation criteria that provide
visibility into global talent relationships and optimize how talent
is leveraged enterprise-wide. Develop global playbooks, guidelines,
and tools that support and empower regional and local teams. Enable
hyper-local talent strategies that align with global brand
standards while remaining relevant to local markets. Serve as a
trusted partner and center of excellence to markets worldwide.
