The Marketing Graphic Designer is an integral part of the Marketing department, responsible for developing compelling visual materials that support brand awareness, product launches, sales initiatives, digital campaigns, and customer engagement. We are seeking a talented and creative Marketing Graphic Designer to join our team. In this role, you will focus on branding, print design, and creating promotional graphics. Additionally, you will assist with social media and digital content creation to help elevate our brand's visual identity across various platforms. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, innovative, and has a strong understanding of design principles, marketing strategies, and the ability to work in a collaborative team environment. Key Responsibilities: Brand & Visual Identity Maintain brand guidelines across all marketing materials Ensure visual consistency across campaigns, platforms, and customer touchpoints Translate marketing strategies into cohesive visual storytelling Collaborate on the development of logos, color schemes, typography, and other brand assets Print Design Design catalogs, flyers, signage, packaging elements, showroom assets, and promotional materials Ensure designs are print-ready, meet specifications, and are delivered on time for production Social Media & Digital Marketing Support Design graphics for social media campaigns, ads, and organic content Create appealing visual content optimized for social platforms that supports audience growth and brand engagement Assist in creating assets for email campaigns, websites, blogs, and digital advertisements Video & Motion Create motion graphics, animated text, and visual effects for digital campaigns Optimize video content for different social media and e-commerce platforms Team Collaboration & Communication Collaborate with marketing, content, and product teams Participate in brainstorming and creative development for marketing initiatives Manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines and maintaining high design standards Qualifications: Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Marketing Design, or related field 3 years of experience in marketing or brand design Strong portfolio demonstrating digital, social media, video, and print design Demonstrated graphic design experience and a strong portfolio may be considered in place of some educational requirements Experience in the Gift & Home industry is a plus Technical Skills: Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Adobe Express, Premiere Pro) Video editing and motion graphics experience Understanding of social media formats, digital advertising, and content optimization Experience designing for both print production and digital platforms Experience with project management and collaboration tools is preferred Familiarity with brand guidelines and marketing campaign design Preferred Skills: Some photography or photo editing experience Experience with short-form social video (Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts) Knowledge of basic UX/UI or web design principles Experience in ecommerce or consumer product marketing Key Traits: Strong visual storytelling ability Detail-oriented with strong typography and layout skills Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines Collaborative mindset with marketing teams Ability to receive feedback and incorporate revisions in a timely and professional manner Why Work for Primitives by Kathy Primitives by Kathy is a leader in the gift and home décor industry, known for creative products and a collaborative culture.
