Constellation, a leading energy company, is seeking a dedicated Instrument & Controls Instructor to join our dynamic Education and Training team. This role is crucial for the development and delivery of training materials related to instrumentation and control systems within the energy sector. As an Instructor at Constellation, you'll have the unique opportunity to contribute to workforce excellence by enhancing the skills and knowledge of our technical personnel, ensuring they meet the high standards required to maintain safe, reliable, and efficient operations across all our energy solutions. Design and implement training programs for instruments and control systems used in the energy sector. Deliver engaging and effective classroom and on-site instructional sessions. Continuously update and refine training materials based on the latest industry practices and technological advancements. Assess training needs and participant learning levels to optimize the educational experience. Collaborate with technical experts and operational staff to ensure accuracy and applicability of training content. Monitor and report on trainee progress and program effectiveness, making recommendations for improvements. Stay current with industry regulations, trending issues, and technology developments to maintain subject matter relevance and expertise. Proficiency in the operational functionality, maintenance, and repair of instrumentation and control systems. Strong pedagogical skills to effectively deliver training and foster a positive learning environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with trainees and stakeholders alike. Ability to develop and administer assessment tools to gauge training effectiveness and participant performance. Knowledge of modern training techniques and tools in technical subjects. Certification in Training & Development or Education preferred.
