A contract opportunity is available for a licensed School Psychologist to provide maternity leave coverage at an elementary school located in Arlington, AZ. This role focuses on supporting 3rd and 4th grade students within a self-contained classroom setting, delivering specialized psychological services during the contract period. Key Responsibilities: Provide psychological evaluations, counseling, and support tailored to elementary-aged students Collaborate with teachers and staff to address student behavioral and learning needs Manage an average caseload with autonomous work at a single school site Conduct assessments and contribute to Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Support the social-emotional development of students in a self-contained classroom environment Qualifications: Experience working with elementary-aged students, ideally within self-contained classrooms Holds a valid Teacher Credentialing Education Specialist Instruction Credential (Level 1 or 2) Possesses Arizona state certification for school psychology Comfortable working independently at one school site Able to manage an average caseload that is not overly heavy Contract Details: Position Type: In-person contract covering maternity leave Location: Arlington, AZ (elementary school setting) Schedule: 37.5 hours per week, 5 days a week with schedule flexibility (full day or half day options) Duration: Start ASAP (maternity leave begins February 15) through May 30, 2026 with no extension Caseload: Focused on self-contained classrooms, average workload Additional Requirements: Professional references required Drug testing and IVP fingerprint clearance mandatory Benefits: Highly competitive compensation dependent on experience Weekly pay for reliability Comprehensive insurance package including medical, dental, vision, and life coverage Matching 401(k) program Flexible spending account for healthcare and dependent care expenses This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated School Psychologist to contribute to an elementary education environment with flexible scheduling and strong support.
