Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and
minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required.
Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be
considered. An opportunity is available for a Special Education
Teacher to support elementary students within an inclusive
elementary school setting in Ellicott City, MD. This contract
position is scheduled to begin ASAP and will last through the end
of the current school year or until a permanent hire is made. The
role involves working with a caseload of approximately 18 students,
primarily making use of resource services through both pull-out and
push-in instructional methods. Key Responsibilities: Deliver
specialized instruction to K2 students with diverse learning needs
in an inclusive classroom environment Implement Behavioral
Intervention Plans (BIPs) for students with behavioral challenges
Collaborate effectively with paraeducators and other support staff,
adapting to variable staffing levels Provide individualized and
small group instruction aligned with elementary curriculum
standards Maintain accurate records and progress reports for
student IEPs Qualifications and Experience: Maryland Special
Education Certification (K5) required or actively in process
Experience supporting students with behavioral needs, including
familiarity with BIP implementation strongly preferred Ability to
work with students across a broad range of cognitive abilities,
including those with low cognitive profiles (please indicate if
there is a caseload preference) Skills in managing both pull-in and
pull-out service delivery models in inclusive settings Strong
collaboration and communication skills for working with educational
teams and families Location: Elementary school setting in Ellicott
City, Maryland This position provides daily paid hours aligned with
a standard school day schedule, plus a 30-minute unpaid lunch
break. Flexibility and adaptability to changing classroom dynamics
and support staffing are essential. Qualified educators passionate
about fostering inclusive learning environments and delivering

growth. Compensation for this position ranges from $24.01 to
