Job Description Job Description SUMMARY Bering Global Solutions, a company within the BSNC family is currently seeking a Maintenance Mechanic for a contract in Olney, MD. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES The Essential Duties and Responsibilities are intended to present a descriptive list of the range of duties performed for this position and are not intended to reflect all duties performed within the job. Other duties may be assigned. · Previous Federal DoD experience · Barcoding and maintenance experience · Knowledge in electrical, HVAC, plumbing, wastewater, elevators, refuse and recycling, ground maintenance, fire protection QUALIFICATIONS - EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATION To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to satisfactorily perform each essential duty. Required (Minimum) Qualifications · Three years’ experience base support maintenance · Experience conducting regularly scheduled and random inspections of employees and work performed Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics · Written and Oral communication with customer, subcontractors, and internally to provide project updates · Active Secret Clearance · Valid Driver’s License · Other duties as assigned PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. WORK ENVIRONMENT Work Environment characteristics described here are representative of those that must be borne by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Job is performed in an office setting / maintenance room with exposure to computer screens and HVAC / electrical equipment and requires use of a computer, keyboard, mouse and multi-line telephone system. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES · Supervising of subcontractors could be a requirement of this position. ADDITIONAL QUALIFYING FACTORS As a condition of employment, may be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening, as well as have acceptable reference and background check results to obtain access to military base. Must have reliable transportation to/from work a necessity and must be able to obtain access to military installations.
