innovative energy economy. We are seeking a Demand Management
Senior Analyst to lead and support the strategic implementation and
operational oversight of demand forecasting management, and
dispatch coordination across all Independent System Operators
(ISOs), as well as various utility-based transmission peak
programs. This position requires precise forecasting and effective
dispatch management, enabling CPower customers to optimize energy
cost savings in future years. A comprehensive understanding of ISO
and utility regulations pertaining to demand management and their
implications on customer engagement within CPower’s portfolio of
demand response products is essential. Based on candidate location,
our primary preference is a hybrid role requiring in-office
presence at our Baltimore, MD location three days per week
(Tues/Wed/Thurs). Our secondary preference is remote. Essential
Duties and Responsibilities A firm understanding of demand
management program calculations based upon ISO or utility. Develop
and maintain advanced models for day-ahead and intra-day
forecasting across ISOs that will monitor and identify load trends.
Coordinate with internal teams to develop and execute demand
response programs and make participation adjustments where
applicable. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and
industry standards. Maintain a log of all dispatched notifications,
performance metrics, and KPI’s that will be used to report on
overall performance to Senior Leadership. Develop and maintain
Standard Operating Procedures and process diagrams for all regions
and programs that the customers participate in. Assist and build
any performance or ad-hoc reporting needs required by the customer.
Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices
related to demand management. Identify and experiment with
dispatch-centric features to help support different customer
segments to enhance flexibility. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in
science, Engineering, Technical or equivalent applicable
experience. 4 years of related experience preferably in the energy
industry, specifically within the demand response or demand
management area. Ability to prioritize efficiently while
multi-tasking, dealing with interruptions and working in a high
paced energetic environment. Excellent computer skills with heavy
proficiency in data modeling, data science, database applications,
and computer programming such as python. Strong problem-solving,
analytical, with the ability to think and work independently.
Familiarity with program stacking strategies to maximize revenue
streams. Strong communication skills (written and verbal) and
interpersonal relationship skills. Must be highly accurate, detail
oriented, with high sense of urgency during dispatch periods.
