TQI Solutions is seeking a Project Manager/Sr. Operations Engineer to support upcoming work located in Carderock, MD. As an incentive, TQI is offering a $1,000 sign on bonus upon Award of Contract to individuals hired for this position.
Job Description:
In support of the following computing environment: Windows Server 2012/2019, VMware vSphere 6.5, Windows 10, and Redhat 6 and 7, and network operating environment: Cisco switches to include Nexus, routers, ASA5500-X series firewalls, FirePOWER 8000 series Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS), Identity Services Engine (ISE), Secure Access Control System (ACS), AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client, and Prime Infrastructure, primary responsibilities will include:

  Managing network designs, installations, implementing standards, and converting and migrating methodologies to enhance network technologies
  
  
• 
  Providing suggestions for and resolving issues impacting system availability
  
  
• 
  Monitoring network performance and recommending improvements
  
  
• 
  Planning and directing tasks; determining resource requirements and costs; and preparing schedules
  
  
• 
  Managing subordinates including monitoring and reporting task progress; and providing final product review prior to delivery
  
  
  Required Experience:
  
  • 
    
  • 
    Candidates must possess and maintain an active Secret level security clearance.
    
    
  • 
    Minimum of seven years of combined experience in computer and networking project management to support Local Area Networks and systems which include network switches and routers, Ethernet (10BaseT and Gigabit), Fiber Optics, wireless networking, firewalls, client/host configurations, and Windows/Linux servers trouble shooting, testing and repair.
    
    
  • 
    Graduate degree (master's degree or above) from an accredited college/university, in computer engineering, electrical engineering, communications management, computer science, information technology, or communications systems OR one of the following certifications: CNSSI 4012-4016 Certificate; NDU CIO Certificate; CISSP Certificate; CISM Certificate; GSLC; CASP Certificate; CCISO Certificate; or PgMP Certificate.

      Prior experience working in a fast-paced Government program preferably supporting a Naval command.

      Clearance:
      The incumbent of this position will be subject to a background investigation and will be required to maintain a government granted security clearance.
