Privacy-Enhancing Technology EngineerKey Role: Process data and
information at a massive scale with machine learning technologies.
Apply advanced consulting and extensive technical expertise, and
full industry knowledge. Develop innovative solutions to complex
problems. Work without considerable direction and mentor and
supervise team members.Basic Qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience working in a data engineering, machine
learning engineering, data scientist, data researcher, or software
development role, including in an academic or professional
environment
- Experience researching, evaluating, prototyping, and developing
privacy-enhancing technology solutions, including synthetic data,
privacy-preserving record linkage, federated learning, differential
privacy, or homomorphic encryption
- Experience using common programming languages, including
Python, SQL, or R
- Knowledge of math, probability, statistics, and underlying
machine learning concepts
- Ability to learn technical concepts and communicate with
multiple functional groups with health or scientific core
competencies
- Ability to obtain a security clearance
- Bachelor's degreeAdditional Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience designing or developing machine learning
pipelines and systems
- Experience with software systems, including software
requirements, software development, software testing, and
configuration management software baselines
- Experience with Cloud-computing services, including Amazon Web
Services, Google Cloud Platform, or Microsoft Azure
- Experience using standardized formats for research and clinical
data
- Experience with machine learning frameworks, including
TensorFlow or PyTorch
- Experience working with containerization technologies,
including Docker or Kubernetes
- Experience with data streaming, ingest, ETL, and data
warehousing technologies
- Experience working with enterprise and production systems
- Knowledge of system interoperability for traditional and novel

is determined by various factors, including but not limited to
location, the individual's particular combination of education,
knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as
contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.
The projected compensation range for this position is $93,300.00 to
$212,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the
typical salary range for this position and is just one component of
Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.Work ModelOur
