Job Description Senior Platform Engineer (ServiceNow) As a Platform Engineer for Software Asset Management, you will help manage and support various processes. Responsibilities will include documenting, monitoring and controlling critical process points as defined by business policies and standards. You will partner closely with a centralized team to ensure critical daily, weekly, and monthly processes are executed timely and with quality. You will educate and gain buy-in from key stakeholders around the utilization of our processes to ensure appropriate execution each and every time. You may also lead or engage in critical departmental or cross-functional organizational initiatives and projects. This individual must be able to effectively communicate and influence partners across multiple functional areas including multiple levels of the organization. Strong analytical and problem solving skills, attention to detail are key. A willingness to challenge the status quo, roll up sleeves and dig in, and the ability to adapt to a dynamic and fast paced environment are essential to succeeding in this role. This individual must display strong leadership skills and be able to drive and motivate others in delivering flawless execution each day, including any process improvement projects. Knowledge of how to navigate data, as well as the development and management of process controls, will be critical to maintaining a well-managed function. General Responsibilities: - Day to day oversight of multiple processes: monitor, report, and plan process improvement or redesign initiatives; define, establish, and manage process controls; identify and implement process improvement opportunities. Will perform processes or parts of the process as needed. - Maintain formal process documents (e.g. procedures and diagrams), and document processes and projects (creating project reports, presentations, business cases, and diagrams). - May participate in cross-functional project teams, including projects driven by other parts of the organization, to provide input, liaise with training, and partner with groups on execution efforts. - Provide customer service and training to internal customers on specific processes they manage; may deliver presentations, including up to the executive level. - Identify and Lead process improvement initiatives aligned with desired customer outcomes and issue resolution and risk mitigation activities to achieve breakthrough results - Meet with key stakeholders and business partners to share results, drive changes and gather requirements - Clear results orientation: display an intense focus on achieving both short and long term goals. The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked. McLean, VA: $127,500 - $145,500 for Senior Platform Engineer Plano, TX: $115,900 - $132,200 for Senior Platform Engineer Richmond, VA: $115,900 - $132,200 for Senior Platform Engineer Wilmington, DE: $115,900 - $132,200 for Senior Platform Engineer Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter. This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
