Job Description:
Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Retro Commissioning
Engineer to join our innovative Engineering & Maintenance team.
This role is instrumental in ensuring the efficient operation and
optimization of our extensive cloud computing infrastructure. The
successful candidate will apply their engineering expertise to
oversee, analyze, and enhance the performance of existing systems
to reduce energy usage, ensure reliability, and maintain the
highest standards of data operations in accordance with AWS's
sustainability goals. Conduct detailed audits and inspections of
existing systems to identify improvement opportunities. Implement
commissioning plans and monitor progress, ensuring consistency with
technical and environmental standards. Collaborate with facility
managers and engineering teams to execute retrofit projects.
Analyze system performance data to validate project outcomes and
make recommendations for further enhancements. Prepare reports and
documentation for internal stakeholders and compliance purposes.
Stay updated with the latest advancements in commissioning
technologies and sustainable practices. Strong analytical and
problem-solving skills. Expertise in HVAC, electrical, and control
systems. Proficiency in data analysis and performance metrics.
Excellent communication and project management skills. Knowledge in
environmental regulations and energy efficiency standards. Medical

Certified Commissioning Professional (CCP) or equivalent preferred.
LEED Accreditation is advantageous.
