Please see details below: Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Mechanic to ensure the smooth operation and reliability of our equipment and machinery. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining high standards of safety and efficiency within our facility. Responsibilities Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs to production machinery including but not limited to conveyor belts, gear boxes, motors, pumps, packaging machinery, etc, Fit and install new parts as needed Carry out quality inspections on machinery Respond immediately to equipment breakdowns Fix faults or arrange for replacements to be installed Conduct scheduled checks on machinery and parts Oil and clean machinery and parts regularly Essential Skills Proficiency with 3-phase, 480V systems Experience with feed systems, gearboxes, and hydraulics Skills in maintaining and operating PLCs and motors Ability to read and interpret blueprints Prior welding and fabrication experience is a plus Additional Skills & Qualifications Prior mechanical maintenance in a manufacturing or industrial environment Qualified candidates are encouraged to apply to this posting directly. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Baltimore, MD. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $30.00/hr.
