Constellation, a leading energy provider, is searching for a skilled and innovative Electrical/I&C Design Engineer to join our engineering team. This role is crucial for designing and developing electrical and instrumentation control systems to enhance the efficiency and safety of our energy solutions. This position offers the opportunity to engage with complex projects, applying engineering principles to solve energy challenges in real-time. Design and develop electrical instrumentation and control systems associated with power generation and distribution. Create and review technical drawings, schematics, and computer-generated reports. Collaborate with multi-disciplinary engineering teams and stakeholders to integrate system requirements. Oversee installation, operation, and maintenance of equipment for projects. Analyze system performance and operational data to recommend design modifications. Ensure all projects adhere to applicable codes, standards, and environmental regulations. Provide technical support during project conception, construction, and commissioning phases. Proficiency in CAD software like AutoCAD Electrical or similar. Strong understanding of electrical codes and performance standards. Experience with PLC programming and configuration. Knowledge of power system design, control strategies, and operational troubleshooting. Ability to utilize simulation tools for system analysis. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) is preferred. Certification in project management (e.g., PMP) or specific technical certifications related to electrical engineering or instrumentation and control.
