The company provides comprehensive mechanical solutions and HVAC maintenance strategies for our commercial, industrial, institutional, and government clients. Our HVAC Service Department is currently seeking an experienced commercialHVAC service technician to handle commercial accounts predominantly in the DC / VA metropolitan area and surrounding counties. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing service, repair, and maintenance and will have a high level of proficiency in troubleshooting on a wide variety of commercial HVAC equipment and systems such as: Packaged HVAC units (VAV and constant volume, capacities up to 100 tons) Split systems Heat pumps Datacenter Cooling Units (Liebert, Stulz, etc.) Natatorium dehumidification units (PoolPak, Dektron, etc.) VAV / VVT systems VRF systems (Daikin, Mitsubishi, etc.) Central Plant Equipment (Boilers, Chillers, Cooling Towers, etc.) MEC2 offers an excellent salary commensurate with experience and an excellent benefits package that includes: Comprehensive employee Health Care program that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, Flexible Spending Account (FSA) and a Health Reimbursement Account (HRA) Life, Accidental Death, Short Term, and Long Term Disability Insurance.
