GRSi, a Top 5 Technical company in Maryland is looking for a talented Project Manager to join our growing Health IT program. This opportunity will be responsible for providing superior project management to world renowned healthcare and research organizations in the Washington DC Metro area. This position is located in Bethesda, MD.

Overview: The Project Manager is to develop, lead, and motivate a team of Helpdesk resources to deliver excellent technical/non-technical support with outstanding customer service, satisfaction, and timeliness.

Roles and Responsibilities:



--- Manage the GRSi team of Helpdesk Specialists including Helpdesk Team Lead, Deputy Helpdesk Manager Resources for optimal Tier 2 & 3 performance. This will consist of resource management for incoming customer inquiries, new projects, and administrative responsibilities.

--- Resolve daily issues of a complex scope that impact the team and overall business objectives.

--- Maintain a high level of employee morale within the team by creating a high-performance organization.

--- Obtain equipment, tools, and space needed to allow team members to adequately support the customers.

--- Participate and assist in driving the knowledge management process.

--- Lead and participate in projects (as developed by the stakeholders, Computer Technology Branch, and within the team, as required).

--- Resolve escalated customer issues to the appropriate NIH organizations.

--- Resolve daily issues of a complex scope that impact the team and overall business objectives.

--- Demonstrated management and decision-making skills regarding Information technology tools, processes and procedures.

--- Practice Total Contact Ownership.

--- Recommend and/or develop change management processes and coordinate initiatives for various project plans within the Helpdesk and organizations.

--- Develop a Team Building Framework to facilitate Feedback System to team members on subjects such as customer service, communication, follow-through and technical skills, in order to enhance the quality of support delivered to stakeholders.

--- Participate in the review and revise, where appropriate service level agreements and ongoing management of service level compliance.

--- Create and maintain relationships with Computer Information Technology (CIT) organization, for increased knowledge of issues and services that may impact NIH stakeholders.

--- Develop and recommend initiatives that will benefit and improves NIH customer service.

--- Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills to present project plans, initiatives and other activities to the NIH, CTB and CIT organizations.

--- Prepare written monthly Progress Status Report to include the following:o Individual project (i.e., task assignment) status to include objectives met, work completed, and work outstanding. Projects updates will also report hours spent on each project, anticipated completion date and a description of any special issues or challenges;

o Resource challenges, planning/status;

o Issues or obstacles impeding progress and recommended solutions;

o Status of deliverables/milestones;

o Status and plan for activities relating to Very Important Persons (VIPs) and critical service tickets;

o Topics or issues identified by the Government COR;

o Asset policy compliance reports including, but not limited to, encryption status, FDCC and USGCB status, and patch status of all IT assets and remediation plans; and,

o Total number of open tickets for the month by technician, building, functional group, and criticality.
