The Regional Human Resources Director is responsible for leading and directing the Human Resources function for our Mid-Atlantic region which encompasses four offices (Baltimore, Bethesda, Tysons, VA and Charlotte, NC) and one subsidiary, and leads a team of People & Culture Field professionals. The P&C Team at CohnReznick is 70 people strong nationally and this role reports into the Chief People Officer.CohnReznick is recognized as a top Advisory, Assurance and Tax Firm with a team of over 3,000 employees in 25 cities. Your success is our success!Roles & Responsibilities: The Regional Human Resources Director is the main point of contact for local and regional leadership. They work with the Regional Managing Partner and Office Managing Partners to create and implement progressive HR initiatives across the region. The Regional Human Resources Director is the strategic face of HR to business leaders. Their primary role is focused on talent management as outlined below:* Support the development of a People/Human Capital Strategy* Provide strategic talent management consulting* Conduct workforce planning and analysis (10%)* Provide Learning Consulting/Assess needs of business* Provide Talent Acquisition Consulting* Participate in Management/Leadership Meetings as part of leadership team (15%)* Provide Succession planning consulting and program implementation* Participate in Leadership Development Program Delivery* Provide Organization Effectiveness Consulting* Provide strategic direction for Employee Engagement for the business* Broker HR services* Facilitate annual salary planning process with leaders* Provide Compensation Consulting* Salary Budgeting and Planning - liaise with business and provide input* Oversee from a regional perspective Local/Regional Office Management/Budgeting/Planning work performed by Field HR* Successfully--collaborate with cross-functional teams within People & Culture,--across practice management departments, as well as client service teams.* Effectively--lead and manage a team of field HR professionalIn addition, the Regional Human Resources Director will be involved in the escalated employee relations issues that need senior level oversight:* Handle complex employee relations counseling/case management* Responsible for senior employee investigations and grievance management* Responsible for Employee Legal Response as needed for the business* Responsible for Reduction in Force Program Design* Responsible for Employment Disciplinary Action for the businessThey work closely with the Center of Excellence (Talent Management & Learning and Talent Acquisition) to provide industry/client insights and lead the effective rollout of HR programs such as performance management and succession planning. They steer coaches/people managers and employees to HR Operations and review Operations reports to keep up with the employee pulse in the businesses they support. The Regional Human Resources Director will champion a culture that recognizes and upholds the Firm's mission, purpose and vision, and code of conduct; is recognized for integrity in every aspect of their role.
