We are seeking a Health Informatics Technologies Program Manager, with a background in bioengineering or biochemistry, to work at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, MD. The contractor shall: * Manage the assigned point-of-care technologies, digital health platforms, and biosensors portfolios under the Division of Health Informatics Technologies (DHIT) by helping grantees, advising senior staff, supporting program staff and preparing reports.* Provide advice and consultation on activities that support research in point-of-care technologies, digital health platforms, biosensors, and bioinformatics.* Identify emerging areas and unmet needs in point-of-care technologies, digital health plat-forms, and biosensors portfolios through program evaluations and expert input.* Provide program management support for the Data Science Initiative- Africa Open Data Science Platform and Coordinating Center.* Provide expert consultation on the development of funding initiatives and other products as needed by NIBIB.* Visit research sites and make recommendations for funding.* Provide knowledge, advice and consultation to DHIT staff, as well as NIBIB leadership and staff about policy, programs, communications and strategic alliance issues.* Work with the Division staff to evaluate the quality and type of research programs conducted under the purview of DHIT and recommend action to be taken to correct any deficiencies.* Prepare reports and document DHIT contributions towards point-of-care technologies, digital health platforms, and biosensors research.* Perform scientific and administrative reviews and analysis of applications/proposals from a programmatic viewpoint.* Consult and advise applicants/contractors during preparation of applications/proposals and provide guidance on program issues, in collaboration with other NIBIB Program staff.* Draft program policy and papers relevant to DHIT.* Attend and participate in scientific meetings, as allowed per the STOPS contract Travel SOP.* Conduct outreach activities via meetings, seminars, workshops and webinars.* Provide recommendations on issues and strategies to enhance successful completion of current grants; prepare conceptual plans and other written products.REQUIREMENTS.
