Job Description:

We are looking for a PMP-certified, senior level staff with program management experience to manage a multi-site, Tier-2 Help Desk site operations within a Federal organization in the Maryland area (Montgomery County).


The Program Manager role will be responsible for the following but not limited to

  • Manage a full range of IT Support Services and Warehouse Operation
  • Monitor service level agreements and Deliverables
  • Establish control, management, and quality assurance mechanisms to meet established SLAs.
  • Ensure training and knowledge transfer occurs throughout the project team organization
  • Organize and manage staff accordingly
  • Identify and mitigate risks as they arise
  • Forecasting and Scheduling
  • Recruiting and onboarding
  • Quality Assurance Management
  • Status Reporting
  • Attend meetings, conferences and briefings as required
  • Manage subcontractors
  • Monitor team performance

    • This position requires a BA/BS degree and at least five (5) years of relevant experience. MA/MS preferred
    • PMP certification is a must
    • US Citizenship required
    • Must have demonstrated track record in managing multiple, multi-million dollar IT service desk or other IT contracts preferably in the federal space
    • 10+ years of project/program management experience
    • Relevant experience required for this position involves project management performing tasks such as staffing, budgeting, scheduling, and client relationship management.
    • Must have Knowledge Management and Ticketing tools (e.g.SharePoint and ServiceNow experience)
    • Must have IT Asset Logistics Management experience (from receiving to disposal) in a large federal organization
      • Strongly prefer candidates with active public trust clearance
      • Excellent organizational, communication and computer skills are essential and must be demonstrated, including skills in budget development; planning and forecasting; personnel recruitment and management; ability to coordinate logistics; planning and documentation for the project; ability to anticipate potential problems and needs and expedite necessary corrective actions; ability to prepare intelligible written reports that document activities, plans and progress of contract activities.
      • Must be proficient in federal property management policies
