Job Description:

We are looking for an exceptional Director of Operations to join Aledade's Office of the President. This is a newly created role reporting to the VP of Operations. This Director is an execution-oriented leader who will work collaboratively across all Aledade teams and levels to develop and drive high priority, impactful operational initiatives in Aledade's high-growth environment. A primary initial area of focus for the Director of Operations will be to provide day to day leadership of a new service model called "Project Solo" which supports the smallest primary care practices in Aledade's national network. Solo provider practices have been the foundation of our mission since the company's inception. Because of their size, they are often the most in need of a partner like Aledade to help them succeed in value based care. The Director will be a strategic, solution oriented thinker who is excited to test and learn new approaches to optimally support these small practices in a financially sustainable way as our network grows. As the Director of Operations, you will be responsible for: * Leading Project Solo * Setting direction and determining goals for the Project Solo with buy-in from senior leadership * Overseeing overall work on the initiative, including including (1) initiative/program development work (Solo "R&D"), as well as (2) day-to-day operations of supporting practices * Managing team of direct/indirect reports on the Project Solo core team including staff who manage the day to day program operations * Lead collaboration across key Aledade teams (Product, Field, Network Success, Implementation, Growth, etc.) to drive success in building, testing and formalizing a self directed service model * Maintaining relationships with field teams in target markets for Project Solo to keep them informed of initiative status, and get their input for planning and other decisions * Establishing structure for continuous learning and improvement across the Project Solo core team to catalyze additional initiative/program development projects * Oversee project infrastructure needs (e.g., SOPs and other documentation) that support the scaling & sustainability of the initiative * Provide regular performance reporting on Solo practices to Aledade's senior management team to set strategic priorities, report results, monitor utilization and costs, and identify opportunities for growth and savings. * Advising senior leadership on both innovative and best practices to drive Aledade's operational model * Partnering with teams to help them execute on other key initiatives or drive operational efficiency and process improvement * Support the VP of Operations in identifying and executing on opportunity areas across the company that create efficiency, remove obstacles, or improve processes and approaches to the business * Synthesize feedback from functional teams, customers, users, and other stakeholders to identify process gaps and optimization opportunities * Manage cross-functional work streams and initiatives projects, while always driving to clarify roles, responsibilities, and best practices for long term effectiveness What We Value: * 10+ years of progressive work experience, including 5+ years in healthcare and track record of program management and innovation through key projects and initiatives * Master's degree in Business Administration or similar degree preferred * Leader who removes roadblocks and obstacles while driving high performance * Proven ability to lead, coordinate, and facilitate new ideas into action in a fast paced environment, while collaborating across multiple, dynamic, projects and teams * Willingness to travel as needed to Aledade's headquarters or markets All prospective hires will be required to demonstrate that they have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19 with a COVID-19 vaccine for which the U.S. Food and Drug Administration has issued a license or an Emergency Use Authorization prior to mutually agreed upon start date at Aledade, unless they qualify for a medical or religious accommodation to this vaccination requirement.
