Revenue Officer will have extensive experience working at the early
stage of a company, preferably in the education industry. Your
responsibility will be to manage, plan, organize, and execute all
revenue streams of Student Playbook. You will partner with the CEO
and COO to strategize in areas of revenue generation, partnership
building, and driving growth initiatives.Role and
Responsibilities:
- Develop new revenue streams that align with the growth
initiatives
- Create, drive, and implement the company's overall marketing
strategy
- Provide reports to the CEO and advisors on all items related to
finance and revenue
- Manage the sales pipeline and determine adjustments
necessary
- Monitor the processes surrounding all stages of the revenue
cycle
- Own the P&L and all reporting related to company's
revenue
- Hire, Develop, and lead the marketing and sales team including
collaboration with other departments
- Devise a compatible and feasible marketing plan for its
department and oversee its day-to-day implementation
- "Listen" to the latest market trends and direct the
organization's market research and outreach efforts
- Create a stable network of strategic partnerships for growth
purposes
- Power to accumulate and implement effective marketing
capabilities
- Provide an environment that promotes continuous learning and
curiositySkills and Experience:
- 6+ years of experience as a CRO or in a senior sales leadership
role
- Demonstrated leadership and management skills including hiring
and retaining talent
- Experience in overseeing sales, marketing and business
development functions
- Has driven a company's sales strategy and owned the revenue
cycle
- Launched or scaled new revenue streams
- Experience in an entrepreneurial or early stage/start-up
setting
- Strong communications skills to ensure effective internal and
external communications
- Experience working with cross functional teams throughout the
organization
- Adaptability, an openness to new ideas, and excitement for
building a quality organization
- Education: Bachelor's Degree (Master's Degree preferred) in
Marketing, Finance, Business Administration, Communications or
