Job Description:

As the Senior Manager of Business Development Operations, you will serve as an integral member of the Business Development team and will be responsible for prioritizing Payer contracts and all lines of business, and continuously developing and refining core dependencies and cross-functional workflows in order to ensure success. This role will report to the Vice President of Business Development.
We are flexible with respect to geographic location, and the ideal candidate will be comfortable working remotely/work from home within the US or from our headquarters office in Bethesda, MD.What you will be doing:

  • Representing the Business Development team in cross-functional work streams including PA process, contract curation, CRM development, rosters, etc.
  • Serving as lead drafter of internal memos articulating decisions and tradeoffs to Business Development leadership.
  • Acting as a thought partner on operational strategy and executing on business functions for scale
  • Managing the Business Development Operations Administrator, meeting on a regular basis to ensure Business Development operations are running smoothly (i.e., team meetings are productive, SOPs current, workload management tools properly deployed, etc.)Direct-to-payer operations, including:
    • Identifying and procuring BD related payer data
    • Ensuring accounts are moved into CRM
    • Collaborating with Growth, Product and Performance teams to develop and optimize on-going Payer engagement strategies
    • Liaising with Performance team on the workflow and operationalizing negotiating amendments/renewals to Payer Contracts, and articulating a clear and cohesive timeline, strategy, and defining roles and responsibilities through the process
    • Coordinating the operational elements of "unique" deals going to market (e.g. enhanced value-based incentive payments) and ensuring cross-functional alignmentAbout You:
      • Required: Bachelor's Degree with 5+ years experience in healthcare, preferably within value-based care
      • Experience in consultative sales or business development at a regional and/or national level, preferably developing partnerships with health plans or large provider organizations
      • Passionate about driving the shift from fee-for-service to value-based care
      • Results-oriented with the ability to meet financial and operational targets
      • Proven track record of creating, maintaining, and enhancing customer relationships and communicating effectively with senior management.
      • Proven success in working cooperatively and strategically in a team-oriented matrixed environment with the ability to influence and interact with all levels.
      • You think beyond your immediate team and contribute to making Aledade holistically better (active engagement in D&I efforts, culture initiatives, facilitating training, leading roundtables, etc.)All prospective hires will be required to demonstrate that they have been fully vaccinated, including booster shots, against COVID-19 with a COVID-19 vaccine for which the U.S. Food and Drug Administration has issued a license or an Emergency Use Authorization prior to mutually-agreed upon start date at Aledade, unless they qualify for a medical or religious accommodation to this vaccination requirement.
