Nearly every CF medicine available today was made possible because of Foundation support.POSITION SUMMARYThe Design Manager is primarily responsible for maintaining the integrity and consistency of the Foundation's brand in communications while providing consistent, high-impact design that supports the Foundation's missions and priorities. The Design Manager conceptualizes and designs creative elements that increase awareness and understanding of the CF Foundation's programs and campaigns. Working with the senior manager of creative and the broader team, the Design Manager will stay on top of the latest industry trends and design tools and implement visual communications to engage our audiences and inspire creativity across the organization.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
    • Works with Creative Lead on brand strategy and brand evolution.
    • Ideates and creates design concepts, designs content, including fully-integrated campaigns, in collaboration with Communications and Marketing team, and other key stakeholders.
    • Manages freelancers and creative partners assigned to specific projects to supplement in-house design capacity and capabilities.
    • Provides strategic input and creative direction to Communications & Marketing team and other internal stakeholders to effectively communicate campaign goals and brand strategy.
    • Conceptualizes and creates a broad assortment of effective, high-quality print and digital materials across all mediums to support the Foundation's mission.
    • Manages design project pipeline and deadlines, including editorial review, production, and printing, providing regular status reports to senior communications director and project stakeholders.
    • Leads proofing process with internal clients, acquiring appropriate signaturesand ensuring deliverables are completed in accordance with timelines.
    • Supports the senior manager of creative in the application of brand guidelines; ensures brand is accurately portrayed across all visual communications.
    • Supports review of chapter event assets, including, but not limited to, event logos and other materials as needed. Reviews and approves materials developed by staff members as needed, providing oversight, training, and mentorship where appropriate.Creates templates and customizable assets for Canva for Chapter use and deployment. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
      • Bachelor's degree in graphic design, communications, or a related field preferred.
      • Minimum of six (6) years of related experience.
      • Expert knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite, including Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign, experience with After Effects a plus. Canva experience preferred.
      • Strong sense of branding, typography, and data visualization across both print and digital mediums.
      • Experience with medical graphic visualization preferred but not required.
      • Experience with design production workflow and project management.
      • Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills.
      • Ability to work as a member of a talented and driven creative team and independently.
      • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
      • Bi-lingual, English and Spanish speaker, preferred.REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS:Reports to the Senior Creative Manager; no direct reports. WORKING CONDITIONS:
        • Normal office environment with little exposure to excessive noise, dust and temperature.
        • No heavy lifting required.
