The Director of Research will plan, execute, and maintain research projects and initiatives that will further establish Donohoe Real Estate Services (DRES) as a leading expert in the real estate marketplace. Using strategic insight, sound forecasting techniques, market expertise and strong relationship building skills, the Senior Research Analyst will help to grow and maintain the Company's competitive advantage and market visibility.

Key Responsibilities of the Director of Research include:

Research key drivers for space occupiers/tenants, investors, developers and other market players to develop, enhance and leverage detailed knowledge and expertise of the local economies and real estate markets.

Understand and manage key resources, local data vendors, and research technology. Expand and grow the research platform including processes, products, and ability to positively impact the business.

Analyze real estate market data and create annual strategic research plan to align with local and company business objectives.

Actively partner with Company's leadership and marketing teams to increase and enhance business development efforts, client engagements and market visibility.

Develop and leverage relationships with clients and counterparts in economic development, real estate and financial industries.

To be successful in this position, you should have:

A Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 3 years of experience working in real estate, investment banking, research, economics, or related field

Demonstrated ability to handle complex analysis using Excel and Real Estate and Market Research technology platforms

Expert technical knowledge of ArcGIS, Argus, Costar, Real Capital Analytics, and Tableau

High-level analytical, strategic thinking and problem-solving skills

Excellent communication (written/presentation/interpersonal) and customer service

Must be detailed oriented and able to handle sensitive and confidential information
