Soft Tech Consulting is seeking a highly motivated, self-directed individual to fill the role of an IT Project Manager. The selected individual will join a collaborative team environment where they will provide expertise and guidance for project leadership, including defining the projects objectives, overseeing quality control throughout the project life cycle, and coordinating the efforts of team members in order to deliver the project according to plan.US Citizen or Green Card/Permanent ResidentAble to obtain NIH SuitabilityRESPONSIBILITIESEstablish and maintain a positive and constructive relationship between the Hosting and Storage Service area (HSS) and its customers.Understand and document HSS''s customers'' business requirements and drivers that would influence the form HSS customers of maintenance activities and coordinate all planned downtime on their systems.Review and ensure that customers understand the HSS levels of service as they''re outlined on the HSS MOUs and IAAs.Hold regular meetings with customers to ensure customer satisfaction.Coordinate service transition activities across projects, suppliers and service teams.Identifying changes to the customer environment and technology trends that could potentially impact the type, level or utilization of services provided.Establishing and articulating business requirements for new services or changes to existing services.Mediating in cases where there are conflicting requirements for services from different business units.Ensuring that the current and future customer service level requirements are identified, understood and documented in MOU and SLD documents.Ensure final delivery of each service transition meets the customer and stakeholder requirements specified in the MOU and SLD documents.Assisting with the production and maintenance of an accurate service portfolio and service catalogue.Managing customer complaints including their recording, management, escalation (where necessary) and resolution.Measuring, recording, analyzing, and improving customer satisfaction.QUALIFICATIONSMore than 10 years of IT experience.Certified ITIL Foundations or preferably Practitioner at the current version of ITIL.Bachelor''s Degree.Solid documentation skills, with attention given to detail and accuracy.Excellent verbal and communication skills with the demonstrative ability to work with all levels within the organization.Ability to perform independently and under pressure of time constraints with the proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Possess excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.Ability to understand technical vision and communicate it to both technical and non-technical parties.Must have Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) experience providing service desk support, change management and Service Level Agreement (SLA) development.Must be able to perform strategic planning.ABOUT USSoft Tech Consulting, Inc. is a woman and minority-owned business headquartered in Chantilly, VA.
