Our client, a non-profit organization in Bethesda, MD, is seeking a direct-hire Director of Individual Giving to join their team!About You:

• 4+ years of experience with fundraising; must have worked on soliciting individual gifts ($10K-$100K+).
• A Bachelor's Degree is required.
• Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), SalesForce, or Raisers Edge (or other donor database software).
• Prior success in fundraising program management.
• Ability to work a hybrid schedule on-site (2 days/week) at the Bethesda, MD location; must be open to travel in MD.The Job:
  • Generate revenue from individuals, corps, and foundations through identification, outreach, cultivation, solicitation, etc.
  • Manage a portfolio of 75+ donors; develop outreach and negotiate deals.
  • Prepare compelling proposals; actively track and report progress to goals.
  • Negotiate and execute deliverables (i.e., narrative and financial reports) of partnership and gift agreements.
  • Regularly review donor trending data to make sure the most effective strategies are being employed.This is a direct-hire position that offers a salary of $85K-$90K, depending on experience.
