Patient Care Tech, CNA - Acute Medical Requisition #: 584670 Location: Suburban Hospital, Bethesda, MD 20814 Category: Nursing Support/Patient Care Work Shift: Day Shift Work Week: Full Time Weekend Work Required: Yes Date Posted: Sept. 15, 2022 The Patient Care Tech / CNA will work within the the Acute Medical Unit, a 31 bed general medical inpatient unit with 28 telemetry beds. Our patients range in acuities and diagnosis including managing peritoneal dialysis, tracheostomies, patients requiring cardiac monitoring, and other medical conditions. The Patient Care Tech / CNA performs routine and specialized tasks in providing direct patient care under the functional direction of a registered nurse. * Observes, monitors, reports and documents patient's condition, symptoms, and reports to nurse as appropriate.
* Assists with patient care, such as personal hygiene, special skin care, ambulation, transfer and treatment procedures, including enemas, ostomy care, oral suctioning, catheterization, bed making, and sterile dressings.
* Observes and monitors vital signs. Hours: * Full Time, 36hrs per week
* Days, 7am - 7pm Requirements: * CPR certification required
