Patient Care Coordinator Job Description
The NeuroTech & Patient Care Coordinator position is responsible
for overall patient care at MIND ALGN. The role will shift between
administrative tasks to support the clinic and administering
-Electroencephalogram -(EEG) & MeRT treatment to patients. This
position is vital to our clinic and patients and allows for
one-on-one interaction with our patients throughout their
experience at MIND ALGN. Position Details & Duties
Providing excellent patient service
and care Administering MeRT treatment to patientsAdministering EEG
recording to patientsUtilizing Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
software, documenting and tracking patient progressExercising
proper care and maintenance of coil, MeRT machines, and EEG
capsEnsuring MeRT and EEG treatment rooms are prepped before
patient's arrivalProviding appropriate and educated responses to
patients and families questions or concerns regarding
treatmentGreet and direct all clients upon entering facility,
explain paperwork, patient's rights, consent formsCreate invoices &
process all accepted forms of payment appropriately and
accuratelyOffice administrative tasks such as managing leads,
scheduling appointments, and handling all medical records in
compliance with HIPAAQualifications & Skills:
Able to stand on your feet for up to
30 minutes at a timeAbility to learn and use MeRT Client, Deymed
Software and EMR platform to record patient notes during treatment.
-Ability to hold the coil on a patients' head for a minimum of 60
secondsAbility to learn & administer EEG's using supplies as
directedDemonstrated role as a team playerAttention to detail, able
to establish priorities and use good judgmentExceptional time
management and organizational skillsAble to multi-task and adapt to
a fast paced, changing environmentMaintains professionalism at all
times -Good verbal and written communication -skillsStrong computer
-skills including MS OfficeAbility to learn and follow HIPPAA
patient privacy guidelinesCheerful presence and positive
attitudeEducation/Certification:
College Degree Preferred, High School
Diploma or GED required2+ years of related experienceBilingual
preferred HIPAA Certification/CPR & AED Certified -About Us:We
