A health services company in Maryland is currently seeking an experienced, licensed Physician to join their staff in Bethesda as their new Director of Sleep Lab.
About the Opportunity:

• Setting: Outpatient
• Specialty: Sleep Medicine
• Patient Population: Sleep / Neuro patients Responsibilities:
  The Director of Sleep Lab will be responsible for:
  • Managing the staffing and scheduling of sleep lab technicians, nurses, and other personnel
  • Ensuring that the sleep lab is properly equipped and maintained with the necessary medical equipment and supplies
  • Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement sleep study protocols and treatment plans
  • Reviewing and interpreting patient sleep study results to make accurate diagnoses and recommend appropriate treatment options
  • Providing patient education and counseling regarding sleep disorders, treatment options, and lifestyle changes that may improve sleep quality
  • Maintaining accurate and complete patient records and ensuring that all documentation is in compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Participating in quality assurance and performance improvement activities to ensure that the sleep lab is providing high-quality care to patients
  • Developing and managing the sleep lab budget, including forecasting expenses and managing revenue
  • Performing other duties, as need Qualifications:
    • Licensed to practice Medicine in the State of New York
