Overall Position Summary and Objectives:This position is located within the Neurology Consult Service, Office of the Clinical Director (OCD), National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Strokes (NINDS). The Interoceptive Disorders Unit evaluates, studies, and offers therapeutic trials for patients with persistent symptoms occurring after infectious exposures in both the inpatient and outpatient setting.Weekly Hours:30-40 hours per weekMonday-FridayTeleworking elegibleNo nightsNo work on holidaysStatement of Work Details:Provides scientific expertise in order to conceptualize, develop and provide guidance on clinical and healthcare related issues.Provide research, writing, and analytic support for initiatives to optimize the clinical trials processCoordinates a team of clinical advisors.Assess site readiness and address scientific and safety concerns related to the conduct of the intended research and identify issues that might affect the site's ability to conduct the trialDevelops and coordinates curriculum manuscripts and speeches on clinical advising.Perform review, analysis and critiques of existing documentation; make recommendations for updating the documentation to meet compliance with internal and external requirementsDevelops communication for healthcare providers and attends numerous clinical and healthcare related meetings and conferences.Contribute to the development of materials for submittal to Institute officials, as well as for dissemination to health professionals, patients, and the publicDevelop communication for healthcare providers and attend numerous clinical and healthcare-related meetings and conferencesPrepare oral and written presentations for internal and external programmatic and scientific meetingsMinimum education:Graduate NursingMaster's Degree in NursingCertifications and Licenses:MD nursing licenseField of Study:NursingSoftware:Microsoft OfficeSkills:Patient care
