CNA Compensation

The pay for this position is $25-$28 per hour
Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

CNA Highlights

This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
The required availability for this position is 1st shift - 6:00am - 2:30pm. every other weekend, rotating holidays, 1/2-hour unpaid lunch.

CNA Responsibilities

Provide non-professional nursing care and assistance to geriatric or physically ill patients/residents in a long-term care or domiciliary care unit
Assist in daily care, rehabilitation, hygiene, and comfort of ambulatory and non-ambulatory patients
Maintain cleanliness and order in patient/resident quarters
Encourage and assist residents in participating in recreational and rehabilitative activities
Follow instructions from registered nurses and/or physicians
Participate in in-service and on-the-job training to maintain and improve nursing care skills

CNA Requirements

Minimum six (6) months of experience as an Aide Trainee or one (1) year of paid experience in the care and treatment of geriatric or physically ill patients/residents
High School Diploma or GED
Must be registered and certified by the Pennsylvania Department of Health as meeting the competency requirements for performing nurse aide work
Basic computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office Products
Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days

CNA Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience in long-term care settings is a plus
