Job Description - Shift Coordinator (PT, Day/Eve) - Emergency
Medicine and Trauma Center (2500016G)Description: All nursing
practice is based on the legal scope of practice, national and
specialty nursing standards, CNMC Policies and Procedures, and in
accordance with all applicable laws and regulations. The
Professional Model of Care requires registered professional nurses
to be responsible and accountable for their own practice. CNMC
supports the development of RN relationships within the community,
especially those related to community health and well-being. The
Shift Coordinator directs the activities of the patient care team
on a shift basis, collaborating with unit leadership to plan,
manage, and evaluate clinical care, ensuring continuity of
care.Qualifications:
- Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree (Required)
- Minimum Work Experience: 2 years of nursing experience
(Required), including 1 year recent pediatric experience in a
comparable setting (Required)
- Skills/Knowledge: Successful completion of hospital and nursing
orientation at CNMC
- Licenses/Certifications: Registered Nurse license in District
of ColumbiaFunctional Accountabilities include:
