As an RN in an medsurg RN, you’ll join a dynamic group of healthcare professionals dedicated to the efficient and effective treatment of critically ill patients. This multi-disciplinary team works together to coordinate the comprehensive care plan and will look to you as a key member in delivering patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes. Responsibilities include: Monitoring vitals and delivering care to those requiring mechanical ventilation, hemodynamic monitoring, and complex medication management Reviewing and interpreting patient data, including lab results and diagnostic tests Administering medications and treatments as prescribed RNs right for a role in an OR must be comfortable with the fast pace of a critical care unit—and quickly working with healthcare colleagues to identify and triage a range of life-threatening conditions.
