Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Cardiac Sonographer - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: 11/24/2025 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 10 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is hiring an Echo Technologist specializing in echocardiographic testing with at least 5 years of hospital experience and appropriate certifications. Responsibilities - Work in a cardiovascular department providing services to both inpatient and outpatient populations - Perform comprehensive 2D echocardiograms, transesophageal echocardiograms (TEEs), and stress echo tests - Utilize advanced cardiovascular imaging equipment - Monday through Friday schedule with four 10-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with a rotating day off - On-call coverage required - Responsible for proper and economical use of equipment and clinical resources - Maintains accurate records and files related to echocardiographic procedures - Must be able to work with both inpatient and outpatient cardiac patients - Scrub or dress code requirements determined by department policy - Locals accepted at the same rate unless otherwise specified for certain locations Requirements - Associate degree required; Bachelor of Science preferred - Maryland license as a Registered Cardiovascular Tech or RDCS (ARDMS) or RCS (CCI) required if applicable - Certification in echocardiography required - Current CPR and Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required - Minimum 5 years of experience performing echocardiograms in a hospital setting - Experience in facilities with 500 bed count required Benefits - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-630598.
