Medical Laboratory Technician Location: Towson, MD Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,014 per week Shift Information: Nights - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/9/2026 About the Position Job Title: Medical Lab Scientist Profession: Laboratory Specialty: Medical Lab Scientist Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 5x8 (23:00 - 07:30) Experience: 2 years required, will accept first-timers. License: ASCP required Certifications: BLS and ASCP-MLS preferred Must-Have: Strong generalist lab experience required, including ABG, UA, Basic Micro, Heme, and Chemistry. Description: Position involves working nights, Monday through Friday. Contract length is for 13 weeks. No weekends required; holidays may be required as scheduled. Floating within the specialty/department may be necessary as needed. No pre-scheduled on-call is required. Independent work is expected. Experience with instruments and laboratory equipment is preferred. Daily responsibilities include performing various laboratory tests and procedures. Knowledge of quality assurance and controls is required. Candidates must be comfortable floating within their experience scope. References from recent employers are required. Candidates must provide satisfactory professional references. Preference for candidates with prior experience in blood banking.
