Specialty: Interventional Cardiology Start date: ASAP End date: Unknown Coverage type: callclinic Schedule: Orientation , 7a-5p, 5p-7a (Weeknight Call), 7a-7a (Weekend Call) Dayshift: Mon-Fri 7a-5p Weeknight Call: Mon-Fri 5p-7a but will consider 6p-6a 24hr Weekend Call: Sat-Sun 7a-7a Shifts/Month: 0-2 Coverage Needs Details: This position is for an as needed call schedule for nights and weekends and dayshift to cover when internal providers take vacation. Weekends Sat & Sun 7a-7a Weekdays 7a-5p Weeknights 5p-7a May also need Holiday call coverage. So far the dates needed are: Memorial Day Weekend and then days in June, July & August Reason for Need: Provider on vacation Typical Day: May get called in 0 - 4 times throughout a weekend. Our staff is usually called in 10 times a month on average. Hospitalists do the admission. We see patients in consult only. Cardiology is not the admitting physician. Will need to cover STEMIs, cardiac caths, interventions and it's preferred that the provider can perform urgent Acute Pulmonary Emobli. Additional call notes: Switchboard will notify the physician of a STEMI via phone and pager. The physician must call the switchboard to confirm he/she received the page. Patient Mix: 100% Adult Provider will work solo Procedures: PCI and PE EMR: Epic Minimum Years of Experience 5 Years Minimum Board Certification: BC
