the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find
a qualified OR RN in Martinsburg, West Virginia, 25401! Job Title:
Operating Room Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse
Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 8H Days Hours
per Shift: 8 hours x 5; flex between 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM and 9:00 AM
- 5:30 PM; weekday and weekend call rotation; holiday call rotation
as needed. Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in the
specialty required; 2-3 previous travel assignments preferred.
License: Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
certifications required for Registered Nurses. Must-Have:
Ortho/Neuro experience preferred. Ability to circulate cases as
needed. Description: Unit has 14 surgical suites with an average of
28 cases per day, including add-ons. RN to OR Tech ratio is 1:2.
Scrubs are provided for registered nurses and operating room
technicians. Charge nurses are available from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
Call response time is 20 minutes, and being on-call requires
staying within a certain distance. No interpretive work is required
for registered nurses in the OR. Anesthesia staff interprets
ventilator settings. RT services are in-house 24/7, providing care
for established patients in the OR and PACU. Pharmacy support is
available 24/7. Preferred experience includes neuro spine, total
joints, and open fractures; vascular services expected to be added
in August. Housekeeping duties fall to surgical techs, who also
manage room turnover. Common case types include general, ENT, and
orthopedic surgeries, though open heart cases are not performed
currently. Registered nurses who can scrub are preferred.
Cancellations are limited to two shifts within a 13-week
assignment. Charting is conducted using an EPIC system. 5 Benefits
