Job Description:

MedStar Health is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to provide patient-focused home care in Prince George's County. This role is pivotal in offering rehabilitative and therapeutic services directly in patient homes, tailoring treatment plans to individual needs, and promoting overall health and wellness. As a not-for-profit leader in the healthcare field, MedStar Health is committed to cutting-edge treatments and compassionate care across the Maryland-Virginia region. Assess patient condition to develop effective treatment plans. Implement physical therapy interventions based on patient-specific needs. Educate patients and families on treatments, rehabilitation techniques, and preventive measures. Maintain patient records and document therapy outcomes. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate treatment plans. Conduct home safety and accessibility assessments to recommend modifications. Expertise in physical therapy techniques and treatments Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to adapt treatment plans to individual patient settings Proficiency in using therapy equipment and patient management systems Medical Insurance Valid Physical Therapist state license CPR certification Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
