Registered Nurse (RN) | Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care Location: Clinton, MD Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,825 per week Shift Information: Nights - 4 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/6/2026 About the Position Job Title: ICU/IMC Float Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years of ICU experience required License: DC or MD license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: Candidate must successfully pass the EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with a minimum overall score of 80% and a score of 100% on lethal rhythms. Three weekend shifts (Saturday or Sunday) in a six-week period are required. Float to ICU, ED, and Med Surg as needed is required. Description: ICU/IMC Float RN position available. ICU experience is required. Travelers will cover the IMC and ICU unit. Candidates must possess MS/Tele and Cardiac Tele experience. Orientation duration is 28 hours. Patient ratios on days, nights, and weekends are 4:1. Interdisciplinary support includes therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and unit secretary. The patient population includes adults and geriatrics. Daily census averages around 9 patients. The unit has 12 beds. Special procedures and equipment utilized include ventilators, tracheostomy care, IV non-titrable drips, high-flow nasal cannula, and dialysis. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in managing various medical conditions and procedures, including interpretation of dysrhythmias and care of ventilated patients. All submittals will undergo clinical review for compliance requirements. Candidates must complete designated training modules upon hire.
