Ongoing Shift Details: 3 weekends per month Schedule: Friday 5:00
PM – Monday 7:00 AM (24-hour call) Coverage Needed: 3 weekends per
month Job Description: We are seeking a Locum NP or PA to support
the Cardiothoracic Surgery team in Lebanon, PA. This role provides
weekend coverage for urgent and semi-urgent cardiac surgery
patients, including ICU management, post-op care, and consultation
with the attending surgeon. Key Responsibilities: Provide 24-hour
weekend coverage for cardiac surgery patients Perform rounding,
urgent consults, and post-op follow-up (average 4 hours/day) Assist
with procedures such as vein harvesting Collaborate with attending
surgeons, ICU staff, and other APPs Maintain accurate documentation
in EPIC Coordinate patient care from cath lab to surgery and ICU to
discharge Requirements Practice Setting & Hospital Info: Hospital
Bed Size: 163 beds Patient Population: Adults (18) Special
Procedures: Vein harvesting Practice Setting: Hospital-based
Support Staff: APP team EMR: EPIC Requirements: Licensure: PA
license required DEA: Required Certifications: Acute care
certificate NOT required Experience: Minimum 3 years preferred
Credentialing: 90 days; temporary credentialing available with
clean file Additional Info: Gratis Hours: 2 hours Surgeon available
for backup after consults Focus on urgent cardiac procedures, ICU
care, and post-op management
