Registered Nurse (RN) | Labor & Delivery Location: Reston, VA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,950 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/27/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Current RN license Certifications: - BLS - ACLS - NRP - AWOHHN Fetal Heart Rate Intermediate Must-Have: - Experience with a fast-paced labor and delivery unit - Experience with scrub role and circulating in the operating room Description: This position is for a Registered Nurse specializing in Labor and Delivery. The unit includes 15 labor, delivery, recovery rooms, and 3 operating rooms. Additional facilities include 4 bay post-anesthesia care units and 4 antepartum rooms. The unit is a Level III NICU. Documentation systems used include Meditech and CPS. The shift is from 7 PM to 7 AM. The role involves responsibilities such as circulating for cesarean sections and managing IV drips, including magnesium. Candidates should be capable of functioning in high-acuity situations. Procedures performed on this unit include cesarean sections, epidurals, spinals, and versions. This role does not require intermediate fetal monitoring skills. Blood patch procedures are rarely performed, thus not a focus of this role. The dress code consists of hospital-provided scrubs.
