talented and driven Sous Chef to join the culinary team at one of
Alexandria's most iconic daytime venues. This is a unique position
for a culinary professional seeking an exceptional quality of life
without sacrificing the opportunity to work in a high-volume,
high-quality scratch kitchen environment. Our venue is a celebrated
destination known for its regular clientele, significant tour group
bookings, and a robust catering and events business. This is a
hands-on role focused on executing our menu at the highest level
and ensuring a memorable dining experience for every guest. Key
Responsibilities Collaborate with the Executive Chef to manage all
aspects of a high-volume scratch kitchen, ensuring consistency,
quality, and speed. Lead and mentor a team of cooks, providing
hands-on training and guidance to uphold culinary standards. Assist
in the execution of daily service as well as a significant volume
of catering and private event functions. Manage food preparation,
station assignments, and quality control during service to ensure
flawless execution. Contribute to inventory management, ordering,
and cost control measures to maintain profitability. Uphold
rigorous standards of cleanliness, food safety, and sanitation.
Candidate Qualifications Proven experience as a Sous Chef or Lead
Line Cook in a reputable, high-volume restaurant. A strong
foundation in scratch-cooking techniques and a passion for culinary
excellence. Experience in catering or banquet production is a
significant plus. Demonstrated ability to lead, train, and motivate
a kitchen team in a fast-paced environment. Exceptional
organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
effectively. A "can-do" attitude and a commitment to working
