ESSENTIAL DUTIES

Ventech Solutions is seeking a Human Resources Specialist to provide Strategic Management and Administrative Support to the National Institute of Health's (NIH) Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO). The HR Specialist is responsible for: assessing Human Resources policies, programs, and procedures, and informs employees and management on their interpretation; researches and responds to employee relations, training/learning, benefits and compensation matters; coordinates new hire orientations and onboarding; carries out administrative human resources functions and maintains related records and ensures that programs are carried out in accordance with company's policies and procedures; analyzes and provides advice to supervisors and managers on methods and approaches to resolve employee work opportunities; develops presentations and training programs as required; develops and proposes improvement to policies, programs, and procedures to improve the effectiveness of human resources and operations; provides other human resources services as needed.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field, and minimum five (5) years' human resources experience or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proven experience leading successful large-scale organization-wide human resource programs and initiatives.
  • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills are essential.
  • Superior oral and written communication skills are a must.

    SCOPE OF POSITION:

    Individual Contributor

    This position is an individual contributor and has no supervisory responsibilities. Provides functional expertise through day-to-day work tasks. Works under the supervision of management.
