Job Description:

Job Title: Coding Trainer
Job Type: Full-Time
Location: NIH Clinical Center
Key Responsibilities:

Provide training for new coders on NIH-specific coding guidelines and software.
Conduct annual training sessions to ensure staff stays current with coding updates.
Offer retraining and support to coders if quality issues are identified.
Collaborate with leadership to design and update training materials. Qualifications:
- Certification from AHIMA or AAPC (e.g., CCS, CPC, CCS-H).
- Experience in training or education, particularly in medical coding.
- Strong understanding of NIH-specific coding practices.
- Excellent communication and teaching skills.
