Job Description Material Puller Automation Personnel Services is seeking Material Puller s for a company based in Elkwood, VA. In this role, you will have the opportunity to primarily be responsible for handling and maintaining the flow of materials and products on the premises according to established guidelines. Pay Rate s 1st shift: $14.00 per hour, based on experience PLUS monthly bonus payout 2nd shift: $14.50 per hour, based on experience PLUS monthly bonus payout Bonus Incentives - Don’t forget to ask us ! After 2 months of employment, associates are eligible for the bonus program Production amount is tracked weekly; payout is monthly Schedule and Hours 1st shift Monday-Thursday; 5:00am-3:30pm 2nd shift Monday-Thursday; 3:30pm-2:00am Material Puller Duties and Responsibilities Physically handles materials used to construct components and finished products to ensure movement of such items is optimized; lifts, carries, stacks items as needed. Operates motorized and non-motorized material handling equipment, some of which may require specialized training. Responds attentively to training from foreman or more senior handlers to increase own knowledge of work processes. Understands and observes all safety procedures and practices to prevent injuries to self or co-workers Material Puller Qualifications and Requirements May be required to perform specific tasks that involve, lifting, pushing or kneeling Operate forklift and read paperwork Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
