Job Description:

Analytica is currently seeking a Practice Lead, Software Engineering to lead its software engineering vertical. This is a exceptional opportunity for the right individual to grow and lead a rapidly expanding team of software engineering consultants. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working directly with clients in both a consulting and delivery capacity to tackle complex data transformation projects. The candidate will also be skilled in Java.

Responsibilities include (But Are Not Necessarily Limited To):

• Practice Building - Drive overall growth of practice area through a combination of client engagement and business development, talent management, solution design / development, proposal development, and thought leadership
• Business Development - Lead technical solution development for RFI's, RFPs and code challenges. Ensure technical content is compelling and demonstrates value. Guide business development activities, partnering with other Analytica leaders to grow new and existing client relationships
• Team & Individual development - Lead by example to build a team of leaders and engineers and create a passionate, team-player environment. Provide technical thought leadership in the data science and data engineering spaces. Support recruiting, on-boarding of new employees, and the development of leaders
• Engagement Management - Deliver high-quality projects for our governments clients while also providing engagement oversight, handling key project aspects such as technical architecture, technical risk, implementation and client engagement
• Partner Management - Build and maintain foundational relationships with relevant software engineering partners
  Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent
  • At least 8 years of software engineering experience
  • Proficiency with JavaScript, ReactJS, Angular, React, Node, HTML, Oracle, Node.js
  • Proficient in multiple Java frameworks such as Struts, Spring, Hibernate, Spark
  • Experience leveraging Web Services and/or Service Oriented Architecture
  • Create and maintain architectural application documentation and standards
  • Experience with continuous integration practices
  • Ability to contribute to design and architecture discussions
  • Solid understanding of relational database management systems
  • Solid expertise of software scalability and architecture principles
  • Experience building test driven applications
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain an MBI Public Trust Clearance
